Had a great day at the Dutch track; Zandvoort with a good friend.

Installed my Corsa RSC36 exhaust. Absolutely love it. Recorded in a go pro with a lapel mic on the rear license plate.
Turner shortie headers, Magnaflow Cats and Corsa RSC36 catback.

I replaced the little fan that goes into the HVAC control with one I pulled from the junkyard. Popped it open with a hammer and screwdriver and gave it a squirt of silicone lubricant spray. It made it a little less rattly. Hopefully this should be an improvement, as previously, it would go from full hot to full cold, which is annoying when I just want warm air.
It's still a little noisy though, so I might look into retrofitting a ball bearing fan into it. It's 2 wires in a 3 pin connector, green/black wire is ground, and I measured 11 volts with my slightly broken harbor freight DMM.

So Saturday I finished tacking in my cage in the lemons car. 4 years of sitting is obvious in the surface rust Need to fully finish welding (which will require cutting holes in the roof to access all of it).
I think I'll have to add another harness bar (and have it be lower to meet regs). Also will be boxing in the rear stay spreaders when I finish it up.
...Also installed a wing (no pics) because...lemons.
M3 also made a friend at my mens league hockey game.

Took the AC Schnitzers off to have the rims repaired and then get new tires.

Remote reservoirs are cool. They are also a PITA to mount when everything in your engine bay is stock.

Note to self: Before playing at 7- to 8/10ths on country roads against scuby driver , try to remember whether there are groceries in the trunk.
Fortunately, potatoes don't bruise easily. The cider, however, might be hazardous to open for the next few hours....!!

^^lol!
...I got to unstick a caliper last night. Annoying driving the day half sticking.
Oh well. Done and dusted, need to swap to my new pads and rotors soon.

Fresh door handle mechanism is back in.
Not nearly as bad as I has anticipated!
Also added some reinforcement to the base of the wires on all the connectors.
Feels good to be making progress on this restoration. Interior almost done!

Changed up the hood emblem and the bumper trim from the parts car, also a battery hold down bolt. I think the parts car just paid for itself.
Vacuumed the winter grime out of the interior.
Removed the clutch stop.
Folded up the center rear lap belt and stowed it nicely in the little pocket in the center of the seats.
Sound's great Lock! Brandon that looks awesome! What are you doing with the Alpinas? Havent had anytime to work on the ride, right in the thick of this semester but i got out there and did some minor stuff today.
Deleted my washer reservoir / pump & shut the sensor so I dont get the "washer fluid low " warning. Also finally replaced my hood struts
Deleted all of my option associated buttons as they are essentially all useless at this point in time
& Purchased an OEM Car cover for it so it can at least stay clean while it sits dormant. ..
Front coilovers and remote reservoirs are finally installed on my car.
Pulled the rear bumper off for installing the rear shocks and reservoirs. However, I think I found a crack at the left front subframe mount. Will have a shop give their opinion next week about it when it goes in for an alignment.
Thanks Josh! I've got so many wheels now lol After every set I buy I say, "this is it, I don't need any more"....
Alpinas are my dream wheels for this car, I could never sell them. I think they fit my style best and being on a dark blue convertible, they go so well.
Did you hardwire your hifi switch on all the time? Or did you delete your audio too?

haha i dont blame you, keep those suckers for life! And no not even, just set it to the HI-FI mode and unplugged the sucker. I did it a few times just to be sure, turning my car off and on again, my fear was that it would revert back to non Hi-Fi mode, but it seems to be stuck in the latter (more preferable) of the two. I still have sound, just figured since that button never changed either way it might as well not even exist.
- Oil Change
- Brake Light Switch
- Charcoal Cabin Air filter
(I'm 90% sure the factory one was in there at 240k)
- Hood Shocks
I surprisingly find myself switching between hifi and not pretty often. I use every one of those switches you took out on a daily basis.
Looks nice and clean without it though.
Sunroof seal, rust treatment and repair inside and out so almost done with body work minus repaint. Rear main seal pilot bearing jbr ltw fw with sprung 6 puck clutch kit. All prep done now to install new built engine. Finish putting interior in and remainder of exhaust and poly bushings all around.
