    Spal fan wont turn on

I have a spal fan wired up to a spal relay, and it was running fine for about a year up until recently. It has been blowing the 30 amp in line fuse I would replace it and after a few minutes of the fan cycling, it would blow again. I eventually tried replacing it with a 40 amp fuse and now the fan wont turn on at all when the black/green wire and brown are jumped at the temp switch while the fuse is still good and I hear the relay clicking. Any Ideas?

Yeah, it's worn out. That's why the fuse kept blowing. If you're regularly blowing fuses on an electric motor like that it's telling you it needs to be replaced.

And putting bigger fuses is a good way to burn the car to the ground.

Ok so new fan installed and wired up however its not turning on when car gets up to temp. It will still turn on if I jump the pins or if I press the ac button. Bad temp switch or air?

Edit: gave it another bleed and all is well now.

At what temperature should your thermocontact turn on?
