I have the interior just about together again....sunroof panel finally works like it should again! Everything is looking great, almost done and will get some pics!
Seats were done back in 2009. Panels redone in 2017. Headliner, sunroof tray, A/C pillars done this past week.....

Damn, I really like that alcantra interior...
The live mpg gauge has two signal sources, one from the DME measuring injector duty cycle and the other providing vehicle speed. If yours isn’t working it’s possible you may have disrupted a signal wire when removing the cluster to replace bulbs. The range feature uses average driving statistics (likely the same inputs to the MPG gauge but I can’t confirm) over the last 30km plus the level of fuel in the tank as measured by the fuel pump sending unit. It’s not known to be particularly accurate on the e36 as the tank gets low. Plus fuel helps cool the pump so most try not to drive near empty. I don’t think you can adjust range in the OBC the way you can adjust MPG through the hidden menu KvBR calcs. I seem to recall the e30 OBC had a set screw for adjusting the fuel level from the sender but have never found anything similar on the e36.
I would like to show you, but I am a little confused about how to upload photos now. Bimmerforums, what have you done?
I made this...

Made crib blocks to work a little safer underneath, I'm not a huge fan of Jack stands

Picked up a Z3 rack, going to go thursday and *hopefully* get some lines made up to run my own custom steering system.
Also OUT of the E36 as a daily (just as soon as i hopped into it lol) and picked up an E30 to putt around. Literally picked up off an old man that owned it since 09'. He was moving into a senior home and could only keep 2 cars so the E30 had to go... Ive never had a Convertible but it everything else was too good so i sort of overlooked it. At least its a manual top, carfax shows its been a socal car its whole life, pretty stoked.
1992 BMW 318i , 126k Miles. Manual top, Power windows and heated sport seats. Everything works except the antenna doesnt pop up anymore, which ill take as a pro since now it cant snap off.
Crackless dash, On a vert too!
Both your cars are very nice. That E30 is clean AF! Nice score man.
Thank you fiber! I'm am really happy with the e30 so far. Bimmerfest is this weekend so trying to get as much stuff done before hand with the e36
Got my Turner studs and lugs!!! Thanks Turner, for my entire undercar is now owned by you!!! Now onto some paint for the wheels!

Changed my CCV cuz car has been running rich and white smoke, never have had my hands and arms so scratched up. Didn’t change a thing gotta keep working the problems out 😫.
Been gone for a while due to an accident a few months ago. But e36 is finally back together! Did a Euro expansion tank swap while I was at it. 100% worth.

Woke up early and took the car out of storage mode. Went out for a shakedown run and then parked back in the garage and headed to work.
I'm just trying to make it a little more structurally sound. The jackpoints for the factory jack have all broken loose and the pads have broken loose too, lots and lots of rust. If I sell it I can't let it go like this. If I was 20 years younger I'd try to find a shell with less rust and swap over my drive train 140+K M52 5sp.
I thought about going outside and cleaning 2.5 years of dust off my M3.
97 BMW M3 (s52b32) - VF-Supercharger kit ( Vortech V2-SQ supercharger, 32 pound injectors, VF tuning ), VDO/LeatherZ Gauge Kit (Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, and Boost), UUC Motorwerks RSC36 Exhaust, Stainless Steel 6-2 Exhaust Headers, Bilstein Sports, Rear Adjustable Camber bushings, Wheel Spacers 10mm in front 25mm in back, Uprated Clutch, UUC Shift Knob, Short Shifter and Clutch Stop, Cross Brace, Mason Engineering front strut bar, Contour Wheels, Euro Ellipsoid (Angel Eyes) HID Headlights, braided steel brake lines, aluminum thermostat housing, mishimoto aluminum radiator and silicone hoses and a partridge in a pear tree
Front bumper got redone so I can run it, should have it wrapped in the next couple but I love how aggressive the car with it on. Amazed at how little it scrapes at this height even dropping the kids off for school in the mornings
After doing a bit of measuring. I had some custom lines made to run an actual oil cooler for my steering overhaul. Really like this as its a direct bolt on to the OEM system, of which mine had been seeping for far too long. Maybe i should do i write up on how to do this, but I know its going to need some minor tweaking.. Just got to throw some tie rods on this Z3 rack and i can get this in the car.

Very nice upgrade, could you share where you got the cooler from? Thanks

So much awesome and almost awesome in this thread. Well, my noisy mechanical tensioner had to go, so I upgraded to the hydraulic style. Nice and quiet now, I kept the stock bolt for the pulley as opposed to the star bolt, stock is simple 6-point 16mm.
So much more to do!!!
