Hey guys, checking in... have yet to meet up with any locals (although it turns out I randomly ran into RangerX at a car wash days after I got my 325 years ago, before I had any clue about the forums)

I'm not much for mods (beyond wheels/tires/audio) and I'm not terribly handy but I appreciate others' handiwork and enthusiasm for these vehicles. I'm probably the old fart here (45) but would be up for the occasional drive/BBQ/etc, although I don't imagine those will be happening again until spring/summer.

I'd consider acquiring another BMW, if the car/deal was right. If you know of anything interesting for sale locally, let me know. Fan of E24, E30, E39... would love an 840 but finding a nice one within driving distance is a tall order.

    Happy Motoring,
    -Peter

Thanks guys, nice to meet everyone. I'll be lurking and looking forward to future gatherings. You guys have some mad skills!

Attached is a pic of my other car. Don't hate me for going with CSL rep wheels... aside from the audio, I have only one mod on this car, which I had installed by a mechanic friend, a module that allows full automatic remote control top operation:

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EvSAtaAdF3o[/ame]

By the way, I have a bunch of audio stuff lying around if you or anyone you know might be interested:

    JL 2x12 in sealed box
    Alpine 500/1
JL 10 in sealed trapezoidal box (bought for vert but trunk is such a vault it didn't make a dent)
    Alpine 2/1, 140/2 or 400/1

thats sweet that you can remotely put up your roof! Do you have a hardtop for it too? Looks like it in the avatar pic.

So I really want to do some rolling shots, need to find a roadway where we can drive next to each other but not a fast highway, I am of the understanding that 30mph is the perfect speed for rolling shots... I am thinking a new years photo shoot in the daytime? I am open to suggestions on where and when. Let me know..

just saw this in another thread.. thought it was funny.... haha
