    How to remove in tank fuel pump on 318?

    How do you remove the in tank fuel pump on an 85' 318i? Is there an access panel?

    Yes. The panel is under the rear seat bottom. Remove the seat bottom, remove the panel.

    WARNING: do this in a well ventilated area. No smoking or spark sources in the area. This includes hot lightbulbs.
