[Austin] Weekly BMW meet

Anyone recommend a good indy shop in Austin? I've just moved back here after 18 mos and now my 2003 CPO Z4 is out of warranty so I need a good indy mechanic or shop.

I use Dr.Beemer. He did my engine swap job when my VANOS blew and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experiences with that indy shop.

What's up guys, soon to be Houston local with a Dakar M3. Moving out there in a couple weeks (GF got a job there). I'm going to miss CO, but I'm excited to be in a new area. Hopefully I will be meeting up with you guys soon. There must be Houston meets as well, anybody have a link to where they would be posted?

Also if you guys know of any good places to Mtn Bike around Houston or within a couple hrs lmk, I'm going to need some trails to hit when I get there!

Hmmm... I'm sure there are trails in Houston somewhere, but it's not going to be anything like you're used to coming from CO. Houston is a gigantic, sprawling, FLAT concrete jungle.

got a couple people from the e60.net forum in the area that are willing to meet up. Also 1 or 2 from the M3forum. Nothing official but I think with you included we might have enough to organize a little get together. Nothing fancy just something to get some face/car time etc.

So next Sunday which is March 4th we are trying to get a few people for a meet and possible cruise. Details are not set in stone yet. We will meet at The Highball at 1230 (1142 S Lamar). As more concrete details surface I'll post up here.

Just a small update. A few of the people attending the highball get together will be heading out to Cars & Coffee up in Leander. And then cruising down to highball. Not sure if I'll be at C&C since its a bit of drive from s. austin.

Was a little more than a handful of us at C&C. My gf has my dslr so no photos from me. C&C was awesome. So many cars. Kinda like a minor car heaven.
With traffic and the kite festival a few of us went to the highball. Were there for a few hours. We plan to do meets every other Sunday. Looking at next Sunday and either back at the highball or reds porch off s Lamar.
