Airbag light on after removing side airbag during repair

I had to remove my side airbag to repair the window regulator, but I removed the battery power when doing this. However, now that the repair is all back together, the airbag light is on. I am positive that I connected the airbag correctly...does the code just need to be reset or might there be an issue?

    Thanks!

If you turned the key to the on position while the airbag was unplugged, you stored a code, which needs to be cleared from the airbag module (computer). You'll need a scanner to clear it.

Did you pop the tab up on the connector before removing it from the airbag. There is a shorting bridge on the connector that prevents accidentle deployment upon removal. It is very easy to damage the connector upon removal if not done properly. That being said, you probably just need to have the code reset.

    It looks stock.
