    Rear seat removal, 05' 745Li

Can anyone tell me how to remover the bottom of the rear seat on a my e66? My son dropped a DS game down the center console area and It appears to have gone all the way under the seat.

Not sure about the e66 but in the e38 you just pull the seat bottom up and it pops out.

It's the same on the E65/E66 unless you have the electric seat in the back. If you have the normal back seat though, you just pull straight up at the front of each of the seats.

I have heated seats. Does the pull up the front thing work with these?

I'm pretty sure, yeah, just as long as you don't have the reclining back seats n stuff.

Just to confirm, it just pulls up. Not a big deal. Getting the seat belts back in the seat bottom is a PIA though! Lots of wires under that rear seat. LOTS of them.

Anyone knows when either removing the back seat panel or the seat bottom itself will trip the SRS lights?

Removing the bottom did not rip the SRS on mine. I also drove it with the seat out for about 10 miles. No problems.

    E65 rear Seat removal

    This video might help.

It would give you an idea of where the bolts are.
