This Sunday I installed the Aux input. All is good, except........
Well, the HVAC control unit is not working anymore. It's pitch black. This what I am talking about - it's #1.
It's not funny to drive in a cold car (It's still cold where I live). So yesterday, when I came from work I double checked the connections to the control unit. It was OK. Checked the fuses - pertaining ones - and they looked OK (I checked with an ohmmeter).
The unit was disconnected when I mounted the aux input. I can say that when I plugged the unit back in, the radio turned on by itself (Sunday).
Yesterday, when I double checked, the connections and unplugged and plugged back on the unit, the same thing happened: the radio turned on.
In both instances the key was NOT in the ignition.
Now I am at a loss - not sure how to proceed?

So, the electronics "gurus" have no ideea what could be the culprit, no 0.02, yet they delve into building complicated stereo setups?
Hmmm, I think I am asking the wrong crowd........
