I'm completely new to this forum but I have an '83 533i, the exact year as yours. I saw this post and immediately loved it, this is exactly how I want my car to look. Can you email me or something so we can talk more?

My brand new 1986 520i on its first day home in July 1986 in Germaringen, Bavaria, near Kaufbeuren. Delphingrau Metallic. The two-litre six was a real step up from the '68 VDub I was driving. The only options were the fog lights, hand-crank sun roof (metal) and the right hand mirror. Yes, it was an option. I cannot imagine driving without it.

I've been doing a lot of lurking... Spending a majority of my time with the e21 guys getting info about selling my '88 325ix and getting an '82 323i, BUT! here's my '88 535is. Bought it a little over a year ago in Vancouver, WA, and have been doing little fixes to keep it running good.

Those are euro fog lights. The car that was pictures is a euro car, and I looked on realoem.com for the them, and those was the part numbers

Nice. I've been looking for those fog lights for my IS for awhile now. I'd say just cruise eBay off and on, and see what you can find over time, that's what I've been doingz
