    95 m3 broken engine mount

I broke the passenger mount on my car some time recently and am going to replace it myself. I dont have to pull the motor do I?

no, just get an engine hoist to lift it off the front ear and the exhaust, make sure you dont lift on the intake(may crack), don't unbolt both supports, only lift enough to give you clearence to put in the new one.

Dude, just put the car on ramps and use a floor jack with a board under the oil pan. Lift it up about 2" and your straight.

Replace both motor mounts. If one broke, the other's just as old, and will have been subjected to tremendous strain when the other broke. It's an easy job with the jack with a board on it under the oil pan: put the front end on jackstands first to give yourself some room under there.
