I'm using Ostrich more then a year on 2 of my personal cars and on six clients cars running turbos from GT30R to GT4202R with up to 1000cc injectors, there is no problems at all to tune them. Each car has it's own Ostrich installed and ready to tune or upload pump/race fuel maps any time they need to. For $200 you got 413 converted to real time tunable PnP ECU. I guess that's all you may need...excluding traction, NOS and ALS control.

And many other could have your success oleg, if only the link I posted had the last couple "needed" pieces; injector latency or dead time and possible accel enrichment?
what is the price for the pro version, is it possible to use pro files from the war room with the basic version?
and will this work with a 506 DME

The Price for the PRO version is TBA. However, our files are definitely interchangeable. The only difference between PRO and BASIC is simply complexity in the User interface. There will be more MAP windows in PRO over BASIC. Our User interface is hardcoded to display the values in their said windows/tables.
A PRO file can be used in the BASIC GUI, however, you will only be able to see fuel ignition and idle/rpm maps
Its simple for us to do. It looks like there is enough demand so we will change some options.I want to know this as well. I really think MAF and injector scaling should be including in the Basic version... If they aren't, this really isn't useful to the FI community sadly
Brody, I suppose if a base map was supplied for a 803 MAF and, say, 42#, 52#, 55#, 60# injectors, the Basic version might be enough. But what if we need to use some other size injector, or have to tweak injectors, it could be a pain. IMO, add in MAF/Inj control from the get-go and it'll be even more popular. This is going to be sick, its the #1 reason my friend is changing back from Subaru to BMW because he'll be able to tune a 95 M3 as easily as he can tune his 02 WRX
Piggybacking what Sigma said, I don't see who is going to want this unless you can change injectors and mafs.
All the tuning programs i use have a drop down window to choose between a few different map sensors and then a window for injector sizing and battery offset tweaking for larger injectors etc, etc, etc. It would be nice to have something similar for us MAF guys as well in WAR even if it was only just to choose a different maf.
1005whp/831wtq little bit of low boost pump gas magic...
Jim is actually more than helpful if you actually "ask" as opposed to "expecting" something.
Jim is mostly the reason that any of you have OBDII tuned cars to this day. Do you expect him to give away his hard work for free? I can assure you, it is VERY hard work and I would not be giving it away. For the "good of the community". What a laughable statement.

I have no faith in Jim, yet I do know he is a very good tuner. False statements make one lose faith. How is that ScamEdit coming along?
You do realize every software has people that will hack it, its the nature of the beast... He should have accounted for that BEFORE making an announcement and failing to follow through...
LOL. If I were Jim, sharkedit would not be coming. You people don't deserve it.
There is honor among most ECU hackers. That's more than I can say for most people on this forum.
I think some sort of assurance from Dan or Brody that this system will not be able to copy tunes from other aftermarket companies would be a nice thing to have.
