Some subtle difference between the S50 and S52?

It’s the same Schrick cam for the S50 and S52. I bought mine in about 2008, so it’s possible they’ve evolved over the years. I also have cam trays from a ‘98 Z3, which I think was an M52TU. I’ve had them for years and have no issues, but maybe there are subtle differences there as well.

Yes — I was referring to the engine, not the cams themselves. AFAIK those are unchanged other than fixing the faulty indexing on some very early versions. Had mine since 2003.
