Ahhh, short 4 cylinders. I gotcha.

Though, I prefer to think of them as being short 2 cam shafts. But that's just me.

I also have an 840 and it is the same color as yours i believe. I enjoy my car as much as i did when i got it back in 2004. It is a fun car to drive and gets a lot of attention. I notice people pointing at it as i drive through downtown Los Gatos and Santana Row. The 8 series will become a sought after classic in the years to come. My car has remained 100% stock except for the tinting of the windows. It currently has close to 90k miles on it, and had 55,000 miles on it when i got it. The car has been driven an average of 6,000 miles a year since it first left the dealership. I have driven it approx 5,850 miles a year since 11- 2004. MY 8 is not my daily driver, which makes me believe that the prior owners also didn't drive it everyday. I plan to drive it half as much from here on. The car isn't cheap to fix when it breaks down either We need to organize some dinner or a local scenic drive sometime soon. I have been interested in doing this for a while. I can't be the only one interested, come on guys!
