Looks clean. Different, but clean!
I wouldn't mind a set of Kosei's, myself..

2004 E46 Touring, Sport & Premium Pkgs, HK Sound, HID, 18" BBS RS-GT's (sold, wish I'd kept it )
pretty sure i got em from khoalty and no light out message
few new things added to the car+ maintenance items
4 255/40/17 Nitto NT-05's
vac motorsports 8mm spacers
vac motorsports hub extender
new meyle control arms, bushings and tie rods
ngk iridium spark plugs 1 step colder
new mann air filter to replace bmw performance filter
switched to liquimoly 5w30 synthetic
heat shielding to ruin/disgrace the highly coveted bmw performance intake too cool intake temps(before and after info will be provided with temp readouts) kinda a trial and error thing due to the tune/dyno just performed
custom tune
mason engineering clutch pedal
results and dyno was rated at flywheel not rear wheels
air fuel
im partially disappointed in my results it appears that im about 8-10 hp down from other cars with similar mods
i plan to hit a dyno jet just to compare to others results on a dyno jet since mine was a dyno dynamics dyno
but its not so bad for 140k and a suspected internal oil leak/burn/blow bye condition
compression test will commence within a weeks time to see if part of my suspicion in correct
EDIT: compression test performed clear 190 across the board all ok
i also think i may have a leaky injector so thats more trouble shooting/trials

nicely modded... looking forward to seeing what comes in the future....
Bubble-Bobble FTMFW!!!!
BTW, what front corners are you using? Those seem to be the best ones I have seen so far when it comes to blending with the black housing on the headlights.

heres some dyno runs before and after all runs done back to back no cool down time

so as a curiosity bump if i were to sell this on here how much do you guys think i could get?
im pondering on a sale of it and moving on
chime in anyone
Personally I would assume you wouldn't get much more if not less then a stock 330Ci only because of the mods you have done would only appeal to certain people. Don't get me wrong the car is clean and solid mods, you just need to find the right buyer.Originally Posted by DarkJoker
i thoughts of that as well
at that point id just strip what i could and sell it piece by piece
Thats the thing to do. Good luck.Originally Posted by DarkJoker

Thats a sick looking car!
thanks
I re-installed my rouge engineering power pulleys last week and all of a sudden developed a rattle after install.
So I order a new idler and alternator tensioner pulley on a whim thinking it could be those making the noise.(They needed to be replaced anyways since I've never replaced them and I'm at 148k and counting)
So I replace the pulleys last night and while I'm in there I install my new Cosmos Racing Cold Air Intake with AMS filter and hydrosock as well as the M3 Xenon ballast relocation bracket.(I ordered the wrong cover and hacked away at the one I had)
Hoping that this fixes my rattle I start it up to make sure everything is ok with the belts and all, and I hear a little rattle from my vanos.
I shrug it off a little and go for a test drive hoping I'm delusional and hearing things. But I wasn't and my rattle is still there.
Figures always happens
I spend my money on mods and something surfaces right after
best part is I'm at least 2 weeks out before I have the money to get a rebuilt Dr.Vanos unit.
I know about the beisan seals and rattle fix,but i don't feel like doing the trial and error with the sanding on the rattle fix .
I'll spend the extra $100 just for the piece of mind and not fiddling with it.

what angel eyes did you buy? i know that was years ago lol sorry
first they were the 80 led ones then one died so i got new ones from khoalty and painted them green
more new updates
got a rebuilt vanos from Dr.Vanos
removed and installed new vanos and test drove noise still there
take the belt off check the water pump it has some noise(replaced 3 years ago once already about 48k ago)
installed new water pump today still has noise but decreased somewhat
removed electric fan drove noise still there
re-install factory water pump and power steering pulleys noise still there
removed belt and drove noise still there
newest part update order is a new lower timing chain tensioner spring and sealing crush washer
part to possibly order on friday is the hydraulic piston for the alternator tensioner
after this if its still there the next course will be the upper timing chain tensioner and purchase of vanos and cam timing tools
if that doesnt fix it lifter noise or
Love the car and everything you have done to it. My favorite mod is probably the license plate. After a night out on the town i tend to scare away cabby drivers with the same line hahaha.
On a side note, can you describe the sound that's been pissing you off? Or maybe post a vid link?
heavy rattle under load only
ill try and get a clip tomorrow but my exhaust kinda of drowns it out with whatever i try to record it with
onto my new update
replaced hydraulic tensionser with a mechanical noise is still there while driving under load
stuck my ear near where the upper chain tensioner would be and heard some noise from there
looks like ill be digging in real soon to replace that
im going to try replacing the lower tensioner spring first and report back after that as well
So noise found
Turns out I'm the most epic dumbass of the millennium
There was nothing wrong the whole time
I found that the new shifter I installed acted as a tuning fork if you can say that
It echos my lightweight flywheel/clutch chatter into my cabin and throughout the engine bay and transmission tunnel of the car
I summed most of the parts I replaced up to as regular maintenance as they needed replacement anyways
The vanos as preventative maintenance is debatable but still in the grand scheme was not a wallet buster
The power steering pump and reservoir not so much and probably the only thing I lost out on
So all in all parts that were replaced were as follows
Dr.Vanos rebuilt unit and valve cover gasket $350
Water pump around $80 shipped
Idler pulley $15-$20
Hydraulic tensioner pulley $15-$20
Hydraulic tensioner replaced with a mechanical $40 +/-
Power steering pump and reservoir $230 +/-
New spark plugs on the chance that it was misfiring and not throwing a code (pre-ignition maybe) $58
All in all an expensive mistake of about $1048 when all said and done
About $250 of that was labor for the vanos because I had to do it at work due to weather conditions
end result

Figured I'd throw in an update.
I returned the car back to stock 95% anyways.
I've finally decided that it costs way to much to make the type of power I desire
The car was fun while I had it half gutted with bolt ons minus cams.
So as the car sits at the moment all thats left on it is the poly rear subframe mounts, uuc dssr, muffler delete, uuc lightweight flywheel and clutch and the tune I got.
Headers are off and hopefully a buyer comes through for them
Innovative LC-1 is uninstalled (holding onto for next car possibly)
Poly motor and trans mounts removed and replaced with URO motor mounts and lemforder(sp?) trans mounts
AKG stage 2 shifter uninstalled(for sale) and stock lever in place with bmw performance shift knob
Green halo's uninstalled hopefully get some regular ones for aesthetic appeal
Hks coilovers uninstalled for factory sport suspension
Factory Intake box re-installed
Factory water pump and power steering pulley re-installed
Green kosei K1's unmounted (and SOLD)
Currently the factory sways are installed but ill be re-installing the hotchkis sways and if my rouge pulley's and cosmos intake does not sell relatively soon I'll re-install those as well.
My most recent purchase to keep me half entertained with some handling were some 235/45/17 Michelin pilot super sports to put on the stock wheels and I put my spacers back on 8mm front with hub extender and 5mm rear.
So for right now its my daily driver until i fully decide which direction to go with my next car. Depending on my decision I may keep or trade the 330 but that is not till next year at the earliest.
Yup so scratch that post up there^^^^^
I went ahead and started to re-mod.
I started with the suspension again.
This time around I opted to not go with coilovers.
I now have:
Koni Adjustables (Yellows)
H&R Race springs (50484-88)
Ground Control Street/Track Front Camber Plates
Rogue Engineering rear shock mounts
(4) Apex ARC-8 17x9 et42
(4) Michelin Pilot Super Sports 235/45/17 (They are like brand new and I couldn't let them go to waste)
I kept my Hotchkis sway bars installed and used factory style front sway bar links and kept the adjustable that came with the bars in the rear.
