    Small brake upgrade

Hey guys - working on a few different projects, what do you think?

This is the smaller of the two rotors I have sourced. Larger should come mid next week

So, you have two diffrent set-ups then? I thought you had these rotors, and then were waiting for the other two to finish it up I really wanted to see a really really big rotor.

Meh.. Unless you're rocking something larger than a factory BMW part.. no care.

Lets see what you're using for calipers.. It has more to do with stopping power than the rotor size....

    Haha, they're nearly 14" man

    Not revealing anything yet

I also have a rotor at 374mm but I would need to run 18's, which is not an option. (that's 14.7")

I am doing research by buying several different rotors to adapt to the E34. I am machining an adapter and using a 4 pot caliper

So far I have 334, 348, and 374mm. 374mm is basically out of the running though - way too big.

We all know you're going to need a parachute on the back to suppliment your brakes anyway

The TCD kit uses the 334mm rotors aswell.........

I know how big they are.. I was really just trying it give you a hard time. I've got a bunch of these things laying around to build a brake set but haven't done anything yet.. I have a couple idea's on calipers, but I need to actually look through some catalogs to find what Im really wanting.

Anxious to see what you use...

Better get that rotor off the Uba Tuba.

Well right now I am on 15" Weld Racing wheels, but I have Rondell 72's in 17x8.5 and 17x10, so I will have to run those. I am probably going to keep stock rear brakes just so I can run the 15s

Hum just guessing, 348mm (E60 550i?), 374 (E60 M5 uses this diameter but yours arent cross drilled?). Either way looks like a good plan its what Ive been playing around with for a while just need to find a suitable caliper now. Good luck.
