Just wanted to share this photo with all of you. It was taken Saturday at a BMWCCA track day by fellow forum member MauiM3 Mania, who is a professional photographer. I wish the inside tire was completely off the tarmac, but I think its a pretty cool shot as is!
Thanks Scott! This one is definitely getting hung on my wall!

Slick...what kind of wheels are those?
Ohhh thats a very good picture. I like those wheels, black car, black wheels w/ silver lips look so cool. I saw a lowered black S2000 with the same color scheme wheels and it looked hot.
Not to speak for him, but those are IForged (http://www.iforged.com) Seneka's in 19's. Great wheels (I have the Aero's in 19), but their customer service is a little lacking.
Nice pic.

I am still waiting for Scott to send me a large file. Thats the only size I have. I think he has several hundred shots to go through.
Thanks for the comments, but I can't take any credit for the photo! Wheels are 19" Introforged Swifts with Toyo T1S.

My bad... I thought you ended up with Seneka's.
Here are a few more shots by Scott...
19X10 with 275/30-ZR19. Lots of traction here and I needed it all that day. We had thundershowers all throughout the day
Here I am being shown the racing line by my Driving Instructor. Mike was a long time instructor for the Golden Gate chapter and was a great teacher.

nice rims
Here are some pics of the S2000 rollover, which was in my run group. The track was very wet and the driver was negotiating a fast 90 degree sweeper and lifted the throttle. Big no-no.
Rear end snapped out and the Honda hit a tire barrier and went over twice, landing on its roof. Both driver and instructor walked away
I hear the owner ordered an identical S2K as a replacement that very afternoon.

im a nub driver. What do you mean lifted the throttle?
In short, the driver let off the throttle (lifted the throttle) abruptly causing weight transfer to the front of the car, thus unsettling the rear while at the limit of adhesion and resulting in snap oversteer.
A 350z got totalled in the wet when I was at road atlanta as well.
I was not going to go out in the wet (my rears were a lil' bald too!) but like the fool I am, I was talked into it.
High butt pucker factor, but I really learned a lot about being smooth. I get the ass out too far twice. Once I pulled a full 110 degree out of 10b.
I love these pics, thanks for posting them. Not for the morbid curiosity factor, but to remind me that the track is not Gran Turismo on PS2.
All due condolences to the drivers/owners as well.
Boy, he's lucky he had the roof up.Originally posted by IslandS52
