Kyle k and I have been having this music battle for a few days now. It's on many levels, I assure you. He thinks that Beast of Burdon is a better Stone's song then Paint it Black, what do you think?

Paint it Black is one of the greatest songs ever, let alone one of the Stone's greatest.

You bet they were Sach, but at least the Stones didnt pretend that their music meant anything - they were just having a good time.

The Doors on the other hand were/are tauted as some indepth, artistic group than can 'feel your pain' or some such shit. Sorry, but the Doors' music is just a bunch of laced psychobabble. Jim Morrison could barely stand half the time he performed, let alone write good music.

My opinion only - youre free to listen to whatever you like, just dont try and pass it off as deep, emotional music.

Def - I thought 'old people' would be the Doors only fans?

I like both bands, I just think that the doors are far to monitone and depressing. The Stones just... rock.
