Can't run anything larger than a 15" in my class. Even if I could, the 15's I have fit over Massive brakes, so I wouldn't want the extra 5 pounds per wheel, not to mention spending more on tires.

Nice looking rims, though! Love that BBS look.

just to make sure, the centerbore is the exact size of stock? I wouldn't need hubcentric rings or anything?

    How much do they weigh?

I'm down for a set if they're actually lightweight and they fit without spacers or fender rolling.

These are direct e30 fitment, designed solely for the e30. no centering rings.

These should be 17.0lbs just like the e30 m3 version.

I'm sure some class rules will prevent people from running these. Not a lot of affordable 15x8" wheels out there that weight 12lbs or less (to be 5lbs lighter then these). Sure tires can cost less, but the 15's lack the sidewall support. Performance was never cheap

You'd need to describe the rest of your setup, and how you will be using the car to make a tire recommendation as sizing is an issue along with tire compound/model. You can PM me that information, or give me a call if you'd like to discuss it.

So will these fit without rolling the fenders? It probably depends on the tire size too, but I don't want to buy them and then find that I have to run stretched tires to clear the stock fenders.

And what's the difference between the regular colors and the "hyper" colors?

For that matter, what colors are they available in?

Have these wheels been track tested yet? Are they strong enough for daily driving as well?

I've searched and have found no evidence of testing.

    Thanks,

    smart man.....

    The MINI is 56.1mm

But that's more for like 2 projects down the road.....

My 15 x 8s are 36mm offset and I still need to run spacers. I guess they're closer than I thought.....

But then again they would look sweet on the wifey's car....

Matt- This is a feeler thread, final details on color availability haven't been worked out. The 4 colors that the 5 lug wheels are currently being produced in are: motorsport silver, hyper silver, hyper black, and matte black. The hyper finishes are unique because they start with a base color coat, a silver top coat and then a clear coat over that. Which results in a very bright finish.

The goal is for them to fit the best on the car with track oriented tires without the need for rolling. Although in reality that is entirely dependent on your tire choice and suspension settings.

TS- These 4 lug wheels are just a computer design right now and are modification of the 5 lug wheels. They are being certified for road use, and I should have the certificates to verify this testing in a few days. I don't know of any wheel that was certified for the road but failed on the track. These wheels have flow-formed barrels just like many other light weight track wheels. They also have no lip which would be prone to bends.

A centering ring could be used. There is nothing wrong with that, but it would be technically possible to make a direct mini fitment as well if there is enough interest. My only concern with the mini is that most 17x7.5 or 8" wheels for the car are high offset, while this batch of e30 wheels is low offset. because of that I'm not sure what the caliper clearance would be like.

That is too aggressive for the majority of owners. That is even more aggressive then the e30 m3 fitment. The offset that will be selected will be one that is beneficial to the largest group of people, with the goal of not having to stretch tires on those applications.
