    Need opinions please?

Okay, I am waiting on the check from the insurance company that is paying to have my rear bumper replaced after being rear ended. I already have a quote for the cost of a new OEM M3 bumper at $542.

Now, I got to thinking... should I opt for an alternate bumper rather than replacing it with the same style factory bumper? I do not plan to replace the front bumper since I am very happy with the look of the front, but by no means do I dislike the rear either. I'm just entertaining the idea of going with something different, but am not sure how an aftermarket rear bumper would look with the factory front bumper and side skirts.

I hear alot about the Rieger Infinity I rear bumper and the only pic. of it that I have found of it on a car so far was on a seller's website. From what I saw in the pic it did make the rear of the car look lower (which I like) with not so much of the underbody showing like with the factory bumper, but maybe that was due to that particular car being lowered.

So, I would appreciate any opinions you may have about which bumper I should go with. I just ordered a set of Euro red/clear tails today, so hopefully I will be putting those on withing the next couple of weeks.

Also, if any of you could post some additional pics of the Rieger that would be great too.

    Thanks!

I like the Rieger Infinity bumper but for myself, I prefer the stock look. My personal feeling is that the E36 M3 bumper looks great.

Mine is in the shop too from a rear-ender. Good luck with it.
My vote is for the stock M3 rear.

I haven't seen a good looking aftermarket rear bumper yet. Stick with stock.

    Thanks for your input guys!

Now that I think about it, the Rieger would probably look odd considering the fact that it wouldn't be practical or possible to mount the black plastic moldings like the ones found on the stock piece. And I'm sure it would look out of place for the moldings to be on the front and sides of the car, but not on the back.

Also, the stock exhaust most likely wouldn't look right either with the Rieger. So, I guess I'll just stick with stock then.
