Just too bad it covers up the nice "indented" diffuser of the stock M bumper.

Ok so we're back to rare is special, not rare is nothing special?

Everyone has one for a reason: they look damn good.

Oh well I like them anyways.

everyone has an m3 bumper diffuser, because thats what it came with and most non m3 guys want that look, i like mine, i have nothing against it, but like kosta said, everyone has one. which isn't bad, it does look good....

It doesn't mean rare is better, but if you want to stand out from the pack, then a different look sometimes helps you stand out from the rest, which could be in a good or bad way. I have no idea what mine is going to look like it until i actually put it on and see it for myself, who knows, i might not like the way it looks on my car and offer it for sale locally....

    looks hot!

That is really kind of meh for me.

Sure it is rare(I guess. Don't see many) but it just doesn't do anything for me.

You should contact a vendor who would like to make a mold of it.

    PS: rare = better

i will let you know man, im not exactly 100% on the look right now, it started growing on me the more i looked at it, but we'll see how it turns out, ill hook you up if i do sell it locally...

I wouldnt say that, i do think it looked off and maybe does need to be painted at first, but the more i kept looking at it, the more i thought to myself....ok that looks different, not necessarily in a good or bad way. most might not like it, but i think i'am just going to leave it as is for now.....

I bet it looks so badass in person. I say leave it as-is, seems like it would look tacky with the outer parts painted yellow.

how much do these usually go for when the pop up? I'm going to have to keep my eye out for one now.

i love the look, i think it really cleans up the rear of the car.

also, anyone know of any vendors that still carry this or is it a discontinued piece?

Just saw this image in another thread. Might help you decide on the paint. I actually think leaving it all black will probably match your car more (plus you get to resell it unpainted.. more $$$).

i never liked how the rear ACS diffuser looked. It jus doesnt match the rear end of the E36.

its an awesome looking piece but not for the E36.
