Indianapolis E30 owner checking in, again and ready for some kind of GTG.
While I'm at it:
I like to lay some praise on Reggie and Reggie's Motorworks. On the way there today to pick up some parts, my upper rad hose wore a hole in itself from rubbing on the fan.
Reggie was not only gracious enough to sell me a used hose, but let me put it on in his driveway with his tools, let me wash my hands, give me a container of water, and let my 3 year old use the bathroom! Mind you, I had never met him before in person. A+ for outstanding service AND hospitality. I will going back for more stuff soon. Actually tomorrow, to pick up my oil check valve gasket.
I see you have a MKII as well. If your looking for local Indy gtgs check in here from time to time because I try to post everything on this forum. Or check out the Indianapolis Enthusiasts thread in the regional section on www.vwvortex.com. Thats where most of the European auto enthusiasts in Indianapolis post.
Indeed I have a MK2. Although it has been relegated to "truck" status, it is reliable and utilitarian. I once hauled 200+ feet of old, split-rail fence on its roof rack and in the trunk. It's mostly used to take me fishing now and will be the winter car. I still have some plans for it. These include light truck tires and driving lights.
I have a Vortex account. Maybe I'll slip back in and see what's going on in the region.
Its a pretty active group over there. In the past year our thread has grown to over 300 pages.
know this isn't the right spot, that's why I'm not making an entire thread... but if you guys hear of anyone wanting a 328is E36 or something similar, let me know, because mine is up for sale...
See Sig... Thanks Guys!

Okay, so the guys at EPwerks are organizing a meet and cruise this Saturday for the Winged Warriors show and for our 1 Year Anniversary. There are a couple of our customers participating in the autocross events. If anyone is interested we will be meeting at EPwerks at 8:30AM and cruise out around 9:15 - 9:30. Let me know who is in so I can plan accordingly.
Anyone here know of someone with a Black 135i in Fishers area? I ran into him 2 times yesterday. I was in my roommates Cobra for one almost annihilation on his part (run was held off due to an officer behind us), and then later at night I actually ran him in my CTSv; it was a very good match for the V but he had the edge up top. Sounded like it was modded...was loud. Nice car, big fan of the 135i's. I would love a re-match in my C5

/me waves hi to fellow Hoosiers.
ALSO, I'll be setting up the course for the upcoming autox at the Tire Rack test track May 23/24 ... and would enjoy seeing some other BMW drivers.

Foxman, what do you have done to the 335? We have a plethora of Active Autowerke stuff that would go great with your ride! Surprisingly we don't see too much of the N54 around these parts.
