Yes we did stop on the freeway, but if you zoom in on the picture you can see that is where the construction has ended just behind us on I69. Not quite as crazy as it looks but how many opportunities are you gonna get to take a still photo on the interstate?

Yes I am doing the Ohio River drive this weekend and I think they have about 15 confirmations. Are you going?

So what route are they taking? Where is this lunch stop? I'd like to join in for part of it if local to Louisville KY, but can't tell much from the website other than a starting point.

I have the route saved on my work computer, I can post it in the morning. It's basically Columbus to French Lick to Cannelton (lunch), then to Corydon, then 135 north and back to Columbus.

I think Roarf would agree....great drive. I think we had a total of 18 cars splitting up into two groups. We found over 300 miles of curves in Southern Indiana. Check the Hoosier BMW facebook page for future drives.

Yeah and I get to drive them every day. So many options for a nice afternoon drive here.

New guy to the region here. Moving up from Knoxville, TN. Working in Louisville and living in southern IN. Looking forward to joining in up here and getting to know people.

Also in the market for a budget E34 if anyone knows of one.

A few of us try to make it out to the Cars and Coffee event at Captains Quarters every month up River Rd outside of Louisville. It's the second Saturday every month so November 9th will be the next assuming they have it in November.

Totally agree! Someone really had that route figured out, a full day of great driving.

Paul here in Rockville, Indiana hopefully I can make a gathering to meet some fellow bimmer addicts. Currently drive a 95 750il that's a dropped daily driver with my 2000 750il as the weekend cruiser, wifes in a 325i as she prefers the smaller cars and gave my son the 97 750iL for a daily driver & 98 750il for pampering & mods. We've got a Snap-On MT2500 with bimmer software for anyone needing cods run over here in West central Indiana.
