Okay, so I figure it needed to be done. We have a couple various threads on different topics as far as photo shoots and gtgs. Why not have a thread where all us Indiana guys can talk about meets, cars, and whatever the hell else we want to.
I'll start it off with two spotted BMWs on the north side of Indianapolis. The first was a black and pink (yes I said pink) X5. It had wheels and might of had some sort of bodykit on it. He was going South on I-69 just south of 96th St. It was an Asian guy driving it. Anyone know him??? The second happened this morning. It appeared to be a post 2000 540 sport with the M bumper. He had what appeared to be a splitter on it as well as a Euro plate reading something with 540i at the end. Know him???
Also, March 8 there is a show in Louisville if anybody is interested. We will be taking down a caravan.
hola, any word on tuning? also im having suspension problems. Im wanting to replace both control arms, bushings, and tierods. pm me so we can talk
I have seen a few nice 5-series on 96th street. I saw a guy driving an E39 540 Silver, with the sport package the other day. This car had paper plates on it still.
My neighbor has a debadged Silver 530 with what looks like the Sport Package also.
Representing Fort Wayne
Good stuff. Representing the whole state. Are you going to make it to some of our Indy meets?
I'd like to get more involved. I wanted to do the meet last weekend, but couldn't make it. My BMW's kinda ghetto'd though, i need to get the exhaust system fixed, and some oil leaks fixed, and some minor rust fixed, shocks.... I've got a list...
You'll find me in Bloomington on one of the two..
Sorry I missed last weekend. John Boelte - Most peolpe who come to the gtg bring cars that are in progress. That is half the fun - seeing what you got, what you plan to do to it and when it is done.

Tell me about these meets in Indy. Do they involve some autox?
Once it starts to get nice out some of the meets will involve some autox. We have a couple of local guys who are really into it. Ian, the owner of EP was also talking about possibly doing some track days with him instructing. (www.ianbaasracing.com) Nothing has been set in stone as of now but ideas are being discussed.
You are welcome to join us (www.MVPTrackTime.com) for our annual "Tax Freedom Track Weekend" at Putnam Park (near Greencastle) April 18-19, 2009 for some on-track excitement. Happy Motoring!
