    High Pressure Fuel Pump

Are the 2009 BMW 335 series still experiencing the high pressure fuel pump failures?

I don't know that I would consider my car an "early production car" since it had a 4/31/08 build date, but I still had to have my fuel pump replaced.

As to the OP, I think for the 09's, they have fixed the problem by now.

For the early-mid '08s they were still using the same design fuel pumps (just re-manufactured) as the '07s, which is why they were still having issues. However they changed the fuel pumps late '08 (approximately Sept. '08)to a new design, and that seems to have done the trick.

If you look here, you will see the three part numbers for the 3 separate fuel pumps. So hopefully case closed.
