Found a cheap front suspension kit. Is it any good?

    Basically the title, guys!

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/161766485066

I'm on a tight budget. Wondering if this is any good.

    Thanks in advance!

I think there general rule for suspension is buy OEM or equivalent. That is hugely inexpensive but I'd be hung up on the old saying "you get what you pay for". He will ship to Sri Lanka for 66 pounds. How many miles are you will to go before one (or more) parts wear out?

You're right! Another thing I wanna know is will this affect the ride quality of the car?

Junk, junk, junk. those control arms will not only fail very quickly, but they will rust over completely just as quick.

WAY too cheap. dont do it. I have seen parts like that on Ebay have pretty catastrophic failures. One guy in an E30 group had a part fail and it drove him into a ditch flipping his car.

You are better off with the beat-up old oe stuff than the new cheap stuff. I used an off-brand control arm on my E46 once and it lasted 6 months before it got loose and the rubber started deteriorating. I had to replace the thing twice.

Thanks guys. Not gonna buy them. I was browsing Rock Auto and found a brand called SKP. Any good?

The quote I learned from owning BMWs is "Cheap men pay twice." Better to buy OEM or equivalent since nothing can beat that.

Meyle, Lemforder or TRW are the only brands I would consider.

This, anything else I wouldn't touch.
