I bought torque rebuilt converters and valve body from them never had them do any on car repairs.
We do all the repair at my shop.

I might be repeating myself from an earlier post but I know ZF is coming to the Chattanooga, TN, area for the benefit of the VW plant. I don't know if they'll be servicing or not, but they will be assembling or manufacturing close-by.
awsomely incredible service and precision-your blessed!!!
Nice to hear! Does anyone make a shift kit? When I do this I want to get the shifting a little snappier with less clutch wear. If your are looking for someone to do this service ask around and find someone who is recommended in building automatic transmissions. For a decent builder of chevy ect. transes can do this no problem. The service itself should run around $100-$150 plus the cost of fluid/ parts. Dropping a valve body, redoing springs, magnets, balls, shims, ect is not a major undertaking and can be trusted to a decent builder.
no.
there is no shift-kit for these cars.
You CAN go buy upgraded software from DINAN...but it's a pretty penny, and you don't need it anyways.
Just put it in (4), Sport mode....and let er rip.

Nah just put it in manual and use the paddles
Have a technical question, don't send me a PM but post it on the board so others can benefit from it!

whatever.....I still prefer a third pedal. Keep playing with your buttons.
Perhaps it's just my "control-freak-hey-it's-because-i'm-a-pilot" nature...

Thank you to Edwin for taking the initiative to show why it is always possible to cut thru the BS, get to the heart, and find a better way. A true evolution with the internet and Pics especially for someone like myself who has witnessed wide open to wide shut to seeing the ZF people take such pride in their equipment by showing us all those passages-would love to see the machine process!

Hey Edwin, any chance to re-upload these pics to another domain?
Sorry for reviving almost a 8 year old thread.
