I haven't been to the pick-ur-part junkyards in ages. I want to say when I last went 2 years ago, I was starting to see early e36's trickle in.
How are the yards out there? Are e36's fully coming in? How about any e46 sightings? Or are the e46's chassis's still the stuff of dismantlers?
Inquiring minds want to know!

I was at 3 pick a parts today, and although it was a bust for the e21 and Miata there were quite a few e36s. I saw 4-6 total versus the usual 0-1 from last year and before

Detailing Dough --> College dues. Which leaves $____ for e36. D'oh.
Im starting to see more e36s come and less e30s at the pick-a-parts in wilmington. I imagine it will be a few years before we start seeing e46s.
I guessing Nu Way is next to or around Milan Honda? Do you guys get in any e36 M3s?

RIP homie TehPandaShow: Loiue
try trolley auto in san diego. totally legit, nice people and they specialize in bmw, mercedes and volvo. i have picked many a part there and have always had a great experience. they also will buff out any build-up on your front lights...i did it on my 528 when i had her and they looked brand new.
tons of them in Sun Valley, mostly at the euro only yards though.

Nu Way in Willmington = Super Honest (Jack and Gary)
I just am back from Nu Way in Willmington. They are super honest. I bought a used S52 long block after looking at in in the car. They took it out for me, and I took it home. All seemed well. I popped off the intake manifold and at some point someone had used JB Weld to seal up a crack in the head. They took it back for a full refund. I was impressed.

Bump for logging on after 7 years LOL. How are the yards these days?
Ironically I used my own LTW wheel buying thread from 10 years ago to reference info on a set of LTW's I bought 2 years ago. Google is your echo chamber.
Hilarious!

Usually a decent amount of BMWs at the two chula locations, oceanside not so much but i was able to find a part for my e32 there.
good luck!

Mainly E36/E46 now... E9X's are starting to trickle in. E30's are pretty much unicorns at the PYP yards.
