Awesome Touring pics guys! I have a bone stock 525ix touring but it will soon be updated. I have Alpina allrad 17" wheels for it and an AC Schnitzer front bumper that I may put on it. Needs window tint too. Would love to have an M5 wagon someday...

These are tourings are all really nice. That red one above is exactly the way I would want one. Since my e30 isn't 2 kids seat complient, this is what I have my eyes on...or a regular 4dr.

How do the dual sunroofs work? Any links for pix?

No links, but you can basically open the front, open the rear, or lock the two panels together and move them back and forth to adjust the openings front and rear. The panels don't slide completely over each other, but you'll still get a good opening at each end.

My daughter loves it, and gets a big kick out of seeing the sky through the roof. Granted, she's not quite 2, so is still easily amused.

Here are a couple of mine, nothing fancy but tint and 17" wheels.

Did you get the front drive shaft that you were needing?

Thanks for the compliments. Ive thought about it but after 3+ years of ownership (blood, sweat and tears) and time ($) invested, It hard to get rid of it after i got it just where I wanted it. Having a e34 would just be redundent to having my e30.

...but it doesn't look good for the e30 when I gotta stuff 2 kids in it.

Nah, just picking up a few cokes. It's a nice middle-class neighborhood, just a dumpy store. Not that Oaktown is bad... I lived in Berkeley for 6 years.

It's not the kids, it's the stuff. My daughter's car seat fits just fine in the Focus, as does her stroller. 2 kids and strollers would stretch it and now we're taking the touring.

Great looking wagon, Diamon black metallic is one of my favorite colors. I had E24 L6 that color.

Good memory! The E34 gods were smiling down on me at the time of that issue and there was a used one on German Ebay from a 1993 just like mine - same side and everything. Cost me 50 Euros - hellaciously cheaper than a new one. It's en route as we speak, hopefully she is in good condition and I can finally get the poor girl on the road. We are having tonnes of snow and crappy roads here this year (and I live outside of the city), so I am eager to get that girl in my hands and use that all wheel drive.

Good, I'm glad to hear it. It would be really nice to have an all-wheel drive e34 for the winter. Once you install that part, does it get it's turbo?

Haha - not quite yet. Will get the E.A.T. Performance chip for the time being. Still fine tuning the turbo on the silver 525i. Once I have that licked up and running strong then I may venture into the realm of turboing the wagon. That said, I have some people who are very interested in buying the wagon so I may part with it in the spring and start the hunt for another E34. A Hartge or an M5 touring would be a nice next purchase. The Dinan 535i that has been talked about also sounds interesting...

Will just be nice to have my best winter vehicle drivable - has been killing me dropping by my buddy's shop seeing it sitting there under a pile of snow. I've only had the joy of driving it from Vancouver to Calgary - been at the shop with its broken wing ever since. Oh well, soon enough - patience is a virtue I guess...

Beautiful touring rc604, I've never seen a touring look so good on bottlecaps, it's all about the drop. Man, I need to drop ours. Screw ground clearance!

rc604 - nice shots! I look forward to getting some pics of my two tourings together like that. Same E39 E34 combo. Very cool to see the styling differences side by side...
