WOW! nice job on the install Tom. Does that gauge cluster have brighter lights in it or is it just the camera because it's really bright!

Hi Everybody
come on Tom finished up those kicks and post pics!!
Yes, it is the camera settings making the dash lights brighter than usual. (Not only exposure, but aperature etc. Halston can tell you more. Not my best camera work, but you get the idea.)
Blatent plug- we do stock the 1.5w dash bulbs for BMW's. If yours are dim please click the link in my signature. This car will get them all replaced.
Other things that are going on right now are kinda boring. We are fixing the de-laminated interior panels, running wires, starting re-assemby, installing a radar detector and laser jammer among other things. I will post details once they get done.
Here are the door panels getting fixed:
We are using fiberglass and resin to bond them permanently (I hope).
Another project is rebuilding this guage cluster mount out of carbon fiber. I will post a finished pic once it is done.
bboyvek, this is a pic of my kicks for you.

News Flash!!
After having problems with the Behringer processor power supply conversion, we have decided to go with a Zapco DSP6SL for crossover, EQ and time alignment duties. This also gave us more trunk space as it lowererd the 3 tier amp rack down to 2. Will post pics soon.
Install is looking great! What amps are you going to be using?
LOL!
Because that would not be different! And Zapco is being featured in the next build.
There were a few considerations taken here for the processor swap. #1 was that even if I fixed the power supply issue, it would still be a "servicable nightmere". The car will be 1500 miles away and I don't want a call in the middle of the night that it has problems. Also all of the cables were balanced to XLR conections (that were beautiful by the way) and could not be easily replaced if there was a problem. Also this is actually the "budget build" as the next car will be pretty serious.
After looking at a bunch of different processor options, we decided to go with Zapco since the E46 will be getting DC Reference amps and the interface will be the same. This was the best and most logical choice.

Tom, my buddy and I are going to start on the L631's in my car today after work. It's been a tease having them just sit in my garage for the last month. Hopefully we'll get the install completed by Sunday.
