    fuel pump and filter install?

can someone help me find an install guide for a fuel pump and fuel filter for a 330ci? My fuel pump is going out and it's time to replace it and I'm not quite sure where it is located.

Theres several post about this: search

The Fuel Pump is right underneath the rear passenger seat.

Fuel Filter, look under your car, you'll see it. It's held by a bracket.

I just changed my fuel pump on my 330i a few months ago and took tons of pictures. I was planning to do a DIY but was too lazy to do write-up. Maybe I'll do it this weekend for ya.

Definitely check the easy solution first - the relay. The fuel pump relay is the same part as the horn relay, so swap 'em out and see what happens.

As for the filter, here are some good 'uns:

I just did my fuel filter this morning. Not too hard, but a bit messy. Wear safety goggles, lay down a big piece of cardboard (like a refrigerator box) to help contain spills, have a pickle jar or coffee can handy to drain the fuel. Did I mention wear safety goggles?

Good idea on the safety goggles. When I changed my fuel filter, that thing sprayed everywhere. It's pressurized so it will shoot out really fast. Theres one way to depressure it, take out fuse #54 for fuel and try to start the car. It wont start eventually, when theres no fuel. Now your safe to take the hoses off the fuel filter and replace. Good luck.
