Yes. And The Stellar Keyless Entry BMW45 is a bargain at only $100. Most people that want a keyless entry may want an alarm. So you may want to go that route.
BMP has some to choose from as well as most other BMW catalogs.
How about OEM? I have a connection at a dealership so I could get wholesale price.
.....
there isnt a wiring harness in your E30s for the OEM alarms.
JCwhitney - $30, takes less than a half hour to install.

Don, do you have any installation instructions for our cars? I'd like to order this kit, but I'm a big dummy when it comes to electronics/wiring.
Thanks for the link(s)!
I would be interested in a write-up as well. That link has a lot of systems for cheap.

Do you have central locks? If so it's a piece of cake. If not, well you better look into that first! I installed Autoloc for $90 in the trunk, it took only about 1/2 hour.
I have central locking. I like that its a piece of cake
I'm not sure where to start yet though.

Any of you 325e body style owners ever have a problem with your door latch not securing when you shut the door? I let my car sit for a month and I think something siexed up?
The BMP is made by Stellar, same as Autoloc. It's a bit quirky but works fine. I also got the window modules and wired them into the remote, rolls up windows when I lock the car and I can roll them down with a third button. Or you can roll them up separately if you don't want to tie them to locking the car.
Funny you mention that. I took a trip to west virginia this weekend and noticed multiple times that my door didnt shut all the way. I had to shut it quite hard to get it to latch properly.Originally posted by BMWSaratoga

nice. I would like to do the windows as well. Personally I would like a nice small remote that has lots of buttons so I can make that its own operation. Ahh, the wish list is huge these daysOriginally posted by franzdom

I have the Autoloc system in my car. Works great for the most part.

Will any of these units activate the double lock feature? Or would it still have to be manually engaged?
