    DIY Expansion Tank Change Anyone?

Well since my radiator is out of my car and the expansion tank is cracked, I'm replacing it. I did a search for expansion tank replacement or change, but nothing came up so, does anyone know where I can find a DIY or have a DIY write-up handy so I can change this sucker and drive my car again?

    Thanks!

i thought the expansion tank is attached to the radiator itself and can not be changed seperately?

its pretty straight foward. There's no write up, it just comes out when you remove everything

Are you talking about the radiator or the expansion tank? I have the radiator out already, I just need to get the expansion tank off that...

the expansion tank is that semi clear thing on the side of the radiator that shows how much overflow is left right? There's really nothing holding that thing on. Just some hoses I think.

The bleed screw has a clip around it that holds the expansion tank on.. Be careful, the clip can break pretty easy (mine did).. Then, you just need to remove an upper and lower hose and the wiring to level sensor at the bottom.

    Good luck
