As it turns out, my cars PCU/ECU totally fried last week. Initially the shop thought it was the Fuel Pump that was preventing it from starting, but after testing it with an external voltage source, the pump works fine.

So, upon inspection of the PCU, they could smell burnt circuitry, and took it apart to find the main board totally fried. Apparently the main relay for the PCU, shorted, allowing full current to the PCU (not good).

Anyway, just curious if anyone else has experienced anything similar, the car is a 93 325is?

Thanks,
Dean
