Do i need to roll the rear 99 e36 M3 fenders if i fit 275/35/18 ET43?
You might have to do a bit more than rolling your fender.
how about 255/35/18
or 265/35/18
I am getting tires for the car. will be rolling the rear fenders. but what size should i get. these tires will be fited on the Dforce Empower 9.5". listed tire size will fit these wheels are 255, 265 or 275 ET43.
I am running stock setup. i have 225/40/17 in front now. i am not worry about the front. I worry about the rear. Empower wheels 9.5" say can fit 255,265 or 275 tires. I would like to fill the fender. I am expecting to roll the rear fenders. I would like to know what is the widest tire i can fit with stock setup with rolled rear fenders on these rims.
I would love to lower the car too but if I lower it? i wont get into my driveway. with the 17" stock wheels? i have 1/2" of clearance. but i think i can lower it a bit with 18" wheels.
But anyway. what is the widest wheelbase i can fit with a ET43 on the 99 M3?
ok on the stock wheels 245 or 255 40 17 is what you need but you got the wrong tire already in the front you need a 225 45 17 not a 225 40 17 thats why your car is so low and in regards to the 18 wheels you can run on a 9.5 wheels up 285 and empower says probably that for the wheel NOT the car the biggest that I will go on your car without lowering the car is 265 if you are lowering the car is 255. Now that rims 18x9.5 with a et 43 is perfect for that set up so go head and get those here is the tire set up that you should be running on the 18s 2254018 and 2553518 or 2354018 and 2653518 good luck and pm me with any questions!!!!!!!
wat the heck? 275? hell yaa hahha
Those are tall tire sizes for an e36. The car will look lifted on stock suspension with those tires.
Your best best is to go with a 255/35/18 on all four corners (see my sig).
You would be best served by going to the e36 M3 forum and searching. TONS of info on tire/wheel sizing/fitting.
Garrett
235 on a 8.5 will be just fine the reason why we are doing the 235/40 and the 265/35 is to keep the same overall diameter which is the high of the tire from top to bottom you see the 235/40/18 is 25.4 tall and the 265/35/18 is 25.3 and you always want them to be as close as possible so you don't end up with camber issues and your tires will last a lot longer too. if you use the 245/40/18 the high on that tire is 25.7 but you can run that as well. good luck and PM me with any questions
2553518 in all four corners on a stagger rim set up
