Anyone heard 3 chimes while driving?

Just got a 98 M3 as a "get-around" until my newest project is done. Every 70 or so miles, it'll chime 3 times very quietly, but no engine faults or lights come on. Anyone seen this before?

It's the memo function on your OBC. It basically chimes in every hour or so. Just press MEMO button, and it should dissapear.

If you are driving at 70mph, I'm sure it's the OBC memo function

the memo feature is seperate from the Speed Limit chime.

the memo feature is standard on all cars regardless if they have the full OBC also.

on that, I've never had a good use for the memo chime...any here have one?

Ron, I think he meant that 70 miles @ 70 mph would mean a chime every hour therefore making it the OBC Memo function.
