Thumbs down Die Hard Trilogy (Bruce Willis Movies, Some Spoilers.)

I finally watched all three films a few nights ago and THEY SUCKED.

The Lethal Weapon series is (at least) three times as good.

Ok the plot of the 2nd one was dumb and the first one was also pretty stupid but the 3rd one was RETARDED. Actually, the plot of the 2nd one was TOTALLY UNBELIEVEABLE! How the fuck are they gonna stick around the airport with that general dude waiting for the cops to deliver some plane when they could have gotten away and driven to a private airstrip where they had a chartered jet waiting? That's fucking STUPID.

Arrgh and the continuity was FUCKED as well. Ok in the first one he is an new york cop the second one he has become an la cop after moving out there to be with his wife and the third one... well in the third one he has somehow become an new york cop again and lost his wife.

They act like the 2nd one never even happened except for one reference to it.

Oh yeah and the 3rd one is also hella racist! Which you'd think would have had some point but it added NOTHING AT ALL to the story aside from some tasteless jokes.

Personally I love the Diehard series over the Lethal weapon series. I think LW is a joke. DH number one was really good. The second one was also good (as for believability, hey these are movies, if I want real I will watch Oprah). The third one was my least favorite, but I still liked it.

In my opinion Diehard is way better than Lethal weapon.

Racist? hmm, ok. From your post, I evaluate you to be a movie buffoon, and have serious issues. Please don't post movie reviews again, since they are null and void.

    Larry

EDIT: Also, get rid of that fucking signature. What the fuck, you think everyone wants to know the fucking weather where you live? Get real.

Die Hard One is a classic movie, it sets the standard for what all action movies should thrive for. I've seen it many times, and it always entertains.

And when Hans falls down, his facial expressions, you can't beat that.

You've got action, a fun story, good guys, bad guys, the good guy goes through hell to beat the bad guy. Happy ending set on Christmas Eve...This movie rocks.

    I love this line.

Yeah I'm not saying the individual movies are bad but as a trilogy they don't mesh as well as others.

Individually they are better than most other action type movies out there.

Oh as a trilogy they are all individual movies, just barlely linking them together. I think they get progressively worse...the first is really good, the second is alright, and the third has a few good scenes at best.

The so called trilogy was really just made to milk the success of the first one out of more money. I bet after each movie they never had plans for a sequel. They are even making Die Hard 4 with Bruce Willis which will be out sometime in 2005.

It's definitely not like the Star Wars Trilogy where the story actually continues, or like the Matrix Trilogy.

Fuck you Tom, you ignorant piece of monkey shit, you clearly know nothing about movies and your signature is stupid. And who would buy a red car anyways. Seriously, you must be a total retard if you own a drop top. And while we are at it, what is with the name Tom anyways. Nobody has a name that short. How stupid are you? You have lost all credibility on the forums now. And finally, who cares where you are from? Get your location out of your fucking avatar. Get Real. You are null and void!

Who the hell is this Larry guy? He busts out of nowhere with a whopping 119 posts and starts being hostile as hell. Hey L Train - Fuck you!

I think Die Hard movies are good alone, but I agree that they don't fit together well. Lethal Weapon is a much better series.

    I own nothing.
    OT.
    T3 triology SUCKED ass.
I just saw T3, expected it to be a stupid movie, but OMG, biggest waste of $8.50.
They should have stopped at T2.
(And btw, what suckes even more is that they ended T3 with an lead in to T4)

Now AMerican Pie/American Wedding triology - That was great. I laughed so hard.

I dont like the 2nd one as much as the 3rd and 1st. But then again im not critical unless its total trash like Gigli.
