    Talking Lé boo yeah...

Just getting back from an impromtu meet in the mountains. M Coupe provides happiness, not only to me, but those around me.

Jason, Sam, Sabrina, had a nice time meeting ya'll, even though you don't drive bimmers, nor read this board.

Anyhow, in a mountain range full of exotic hardware, the M Coupe gets more than it's fair share of attention, and props to all the sport bike riders who seem to recognize that it's built for speed and the old people that stare like satan just rolled up.

It's nice going back up there regularly, that was my second time in 3 weeks. I'm getting the hang of it again. Getting the tail out a little more than perhaps I should , but this force just takes over that says "hit it" and I'm just powerless to do anything but obey.

Enjoyed the high praise, as I was told it looked like I was carving it up, and indeed, smooth is the name of the game as there are some hell 180 and sweeper and combination curves up there. I just love when you can see/know 3 curves in a row and they bank and dip and rise. Sitting fat in the torque curve applying bursts of power waiting to unfold the steering wheel to keep the tail in place.

Got up there, did GA60 and 2 runs on GA180 and got home in 200 miles. I think I found a new bad habit. Can't wait until fall when the leaves come off the trees and the Harleys stay home. Being able to see extended stretches of road is fab-u-lous.

    Man those roads are heaven.

    Mountain driving 101.

If the signs point left like this - go ahead and start setting up for a left hand turn, cuz sure as day follows night...

It's not all left hand turns. Did not want to give that "NASCAR" impression.

I'll try to round up some more folks next time. I met these folks though AIM. They were going to look at a near 400hp M6.

I'd like to get up there a little earlier. The local and RV and Harley traffic gets a little heavier as the day progresses.

From spaghetti junction I was able to get up there, get my drive on and get back in 200 miles. Not too bad.

So true about the Harleys. I was on a drive last weekend, just getting to a good part, & there was a pack of about 30 of them, all riding in pairs forming a solid line a half mile long. These guys were going about 15 mph in most turns. It was killing me, & there wasn't any way to pass them cuz it was just one long train of them .
    Right you are Ken!

Not just "boo yeah" but the ultra classy and sophisticated "lé boo yeah."

Yeah, if I stay in Georgia, I'm moving up there.

Green acres is the place for me.
Farm livin' is the life for me.
Land spreadin' out so far and wide.
Keep Manhattan, just give me that countryside.

New York is where I'd rather stay.
    I get allergic smelling hay.
I just adore a penthouse view.
Dah-ling I love you but give me Park Avenue.

    ...The chores.
    ...The stores.
    ...Fresh air.
    ...Times Square

    You are my wife.
    Good bye, city life.
    Green Acres we are there.
