In my defence , the commonwhore isnt mine. but yeh bit of a car yard to so that = bogan. I have gsr lancer around the side, charade, mazda 6 and bmw at the moment. I didnt have the usual blue singlet on though in that vid, was barefoot though.
Luckily i have understanding neighbours, i work on most of their cars so that helps and i own the house anyway.

Since youtube is being lame about not letting people upload any copyrighted music, I couldn't post the video here via youtube. But for those of you who have facebook, I uploaded it to the BMW E21 group. It's called "Reunited..." I'm sure it embodies the same way most of you feel when returning to your car after a long time apart!
It's not the best, I only spent about 10 mins filming, but you'll get the idea!
EDIT: I posted the youtube version on page 3 of this thread due to request.

Sellick you get an A+, great vid!
What camera are you using? i love the depth of field in the shot of you walking up focused on the banister. Great work!

My eyes welled up. I've informed my wife that when the car is back from paint... I will probably cry.
Really love the quality. What kind of equipment are you using?

lol all good, great vid man, very well done

Lol I wondered if anyone would mention anything about that. I'm not too worried about dirt scratches, the paint isn't in the best condition on it.
I'm glad you guys enjoyed it! I'm finishing up my degree in Film this semester, so I'm a little harder on it than I figured some of you would be. But I knew anyone who loves their E21 the way I do would enjoy that.
I used an HVX with a Letus 35mm adaptor and a 50mm lens. For those of you who want technicals.
Boomer: By template I'm assuming you mean something of the same idea? Go for it man! Long as you're not using my footage I've got nothing but love!
I'm planning on doing another one, when the car is clean, and stepping it up another notch! Again, thanks for all the love!
Sellick that was awesome, i might be a novice, but i am right after you.

nice work. e21's have terrible rear ends for drag racing, so thats a pretty good time. was it all stripped-out, or did you run as you drive it normally?
wonder what it'd do with slicks and 15's...?
its at full weight, which is 1350kg, damn boot install and sound system is heavy as and plus i had almost full tank of fuel (woops) lol
with better weather it should drop into the 12's as all my mates cars where 3 10ths or so off there normal times, so ill run it again when weather is good
and then after that ill put a bigger convertor in, as the one thats in there at moment is to small so i cant bring it on boost on the lien
so, so far im really happy with the time considering the things that effected it on its first outting can only go quicker from here

Got the seats back from the burnt car, I cheaped out and dyed the carpet from tan to black (something I said I would never do), and re skinned the door panels.
oi cheap320i, this is the videos thread, not the carpet dying blog thread...
