    Fuel Injectors o-rings..

94 525i. How difficult is it to replace injector o-rings? How many are needed? Also, fuel feed and return lines may need to be replaced. Any diy links? Im trying to find out where the gas smell is coming from during cold weather. Speaking of cold winter weather here in CANADA, what engine oil viscosity do you recommend. Thanks in advance.

never done an M50 but you need 2 rings per injector (i.e. 12 in total)

Thanks for the offer but I don't know whether same o-rings are used on in line 6. Maybe someone here knows.

    Umm, FAIL!

The people on this forum are pretty easy going, but you have committed an unforgivable bimmerforums sin.

honestly, based on this sentence alone, I don't think you should be under the hood of your car.

Hey cut him some slack. Maybe the PO did a transplant and installed a V6 in the BMUU.

Those o-rings are used on virtually every BMW model (same as the oil drain plug for example). Checked with ETK and they are used on most E30, E36, E46, E34, E39, E32, E38 and E31 models.

For E34 specifially the same o-rings are used on
