    Hi Jim,

I just placed my order yesterday (V781011) and did not click a banner or mention your name. Is there any way to tag the order after-the-fact so the site gets some proceeds?

    Thanks,
    Jay

    Jim,

My 2011 X5d needs new all-season run-flats! What do you recommend as the best deal as replacements? I have the stock 19" wheels, and the stock tires are size 255/50-19. I'm assuming I should stick with the same size tires?
If I ordered through you, do you pair up with local shops for installation? Feel free to PM me if you wish! Thanks.

I would say the Pirelli Scorpion Verde AS at 219.20 or the Michelin Latitude Tour HP at 233.39 would be the two best all season run flat tires. If I can help let me know.

Are you looking for an R compound tire or more of an Extreme Performance street/track tire? Let me know and I can make a recommendation.

Then the best tire out is the Bridgestonre RE71R. They are almost an R compound for the dry but still offer fairly good wet traction. They are a little noisy but that is expected in this level of performance. They are in stock at 166.49 with free shipping.
If I can help let me know.

    Hi,
95M3, H&R OEM Sport Springs, Konis, Stock Brakes, 17x8 ET 40 OZ wheels.... Not much available in 235/40/17 anymore. Very interested in Michelin Pilot Sport 4s. Do you think 245/40/17 would create clearance issue(s)? Circumference is .99 inches bigger so speedo will be off a bit.... and i guess i loose a tiny bit on acceleration. It's basically street use with an autocross or two thrown in.
    Thanks in advance!

I think you will need more negative camber and maybe a fender lip roll. There are a lot of guys running 245/40R17 all the way around on 3 Series BMW's.
If I can help let me know.

Jim, Surprised about more camber/lip roll... the springs are H&R OE sports so not much drop. You thinking camber/lip roll on the rear only?

Not much available in 235/40/17 anymore. What has closest performance (street) to the PS 4s?
    Thanks for your help!

The Dunlop Direza Z3 would be the best handling tire in the 235/40R17 and they are 196.35 per tire. If I can help let me know.

    Hi. 2009 328i xDrive.

Looking for a great all season tire that I can leave on year-round (if there's enough snow on the ground that snow tires would make a big difference I'm just going to stay home). Should I just bite the bullet and get the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S, or is the Conti DWS06 or Pirelli worthy competitors?

I commute about 30 miles one way; mostly highway, and would lean to one that is quieter (if there's any difference).

    Thanks in advance.

I have tested all of the Performance AS tires on the 3 Series and I would recommend the DWS06. They are the best combination of handling with winter traction and ride quality.

Thanks! Ordered. I may not have entered your name, though - is there a way to correct that?
