Jim, can you please read the thread about 18 inch wheels for a 1996 Z3 under the tire and wheel section. I could use your help. Thx, Bob

The best size is 245/40R19 front and 275/35R19 rear. I will say that the wheels are pretty wide for the 7 Series. If I can help let me know.

Thank you very much, yea thats what i have on right now on 9Jx19 front and 10Jx19 rear, with ET24 all around,
then on the other car 8.5Jx19 and 9.5Jx19 ET20 all around with 245/45 all four,
now i bought another set of rims with 9.5Jx19 ET20 and 11Jx19 ET24
they fits good, just not shure yet what size of tires a should use, 255/40 and 295/35 might work but its lower then 245/45 + 275/40

I am pretty sure a 295 is not going to fir without modification. I would just stay with the 275 rear.

They are in stock and the 4 tires delivered would be 995.98 total. They do come with a 2 year road hazard as well. If I can help let me know.

Hi I have a 2004 bmw 325ci convertible. I am considering buying the Toyo proxes r1r tires. Front 225/45-17 and Rear 245/40-17. I know i will not be able to rotate tires. I like the look. and this is for summer only. My question is what other tire is comparable to toyo tire i am looking at. And do you have any pros cons on my tire choice. Everyone feel free to jump in on this. Thank you in advance.

There are a lot of tires in the Extreme Performance category that are available in the two sizes. BF Goodrich Rival, Bridgestone RE71R, Dunlop Star Spec, Kumho V720, Hankook RS3-2 and Yokohama Advan Neova AD08R are all the same kind of tire. In the testing that I have seen I like the Bridgestone RE71R the best.
If I can help let me know.

The Super Sport is a very good handling tire but not quite up to the dry handling of the tires I mentioned. The Michelin will last longer and they will be better in the rain. They just wont give the same track or autocross handling of the other tires.

Thank You. Well i do not take my car to the track and really do not intend too. Would not feel safe without a roll cage as I take most things beyond there limits. For me they would be just for agresive summer daily driving.
I purchased this car two years back and the car had an older set of Toyo proxies on it. I ran it with them in the front and purchased a set of the Toyo Proxies for the rear. I like the way they handled but I really have no experiance with a road handling car or tire. I will say I think they were a bit Noisie.
Only mods to my car are dimpled and slotted brakes, KN fillter, AFE, Short shifter,Strut tower brace, And looking into new shocks and struts. To me the car handles great and not sure that what i have justifies purchasing the tire's im looking at.
All my previous experiance was going strait. 8.8 @ 170 1/4 mile. So This is where i take the opinion of a pro. Thanks Again.
