Jim,
Thanks for the info regarding the Sumitomos on the 993 and 318TI
Order is in route.
I was looking to order the Continental ExtremeContact DW for my sons '05 Z4 (18' option), but the rears (255/35ZR18) are on back order. Do you have any feel as to how long it will be until they are available again? He really needs tires within the next week.
Thanks for any help or info.

We do have the tires on order but they are showing a back order with no due date. It is probably going to be 6-8 weeks. If I can help let me know.
Jim, I a m in NYC and am looking for an all-season tire for my E39 that I need badly. My car is lowered with H & R Sport and has Koni's FSD shocks all purchased from Tirerack. I run 19's with 245/35 and 275/30. I have been debating between the Conti DWS and the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus or the new Pilot Sport A/S 3. Do you have a recommendation between the three tires? I definitely am looking for ride quality and low noise. Any feedback is appreciated.
I have driven all three of these tires and if you are intending to drive in the snow the DWS is the best. If not the new Michelin is better in wet and dry than the Conti. If I can help let me know.
Hello,
do you have toyo proxes t1 sport in 235/45/17 front and 265/40/17 rear?
toyo site says they are available but I don't seem to be able to find any info on the TR site.
thanks in advance.
I do have the DWS available in the 17" for the car and they are the best for winter in an all season tire. They do not make a 15" for the BMW. If I can help let me know.
If you stay with an all season tire the DWS is the best that we have tested in the snow. They are going to be a lot better handling tire all the way around than the Cooper touring tire. As far as compared to winter tires the DWS is going to be at lest 30 percent below the winter tires.
If I can help let me know.
Will you guys be offering any additional savings or discounts on black Friday or cyber Monday other than the promotions already being offered at this time? Thanks!
Promise!?!? Lol. Might order before black Friday/ cyber Monday if there will be no additional savings throughout the thanksgiving weekend. Not even like free shipping or our a percentage off? I'm fairly shocked but do like the price I'm getting on the new Kumho Ecsta PA31.
Here anything good or bad about them?
Here is a link to the test we did here. They have a 50.00 mail in rebate at this time. I do not see anything going on with the tires next week. If I can help let me know.

Hey Jim,
Just a question; going from a 16x7" oem rim with 205/55/16 tires on my 2000 323it wagon, to a 17x8.5" et 35 rim.
What tire size do you recommend to keep a similar ride height/wheel gap, or a little less gap? I was thinking 225/45/17 but I would appreciate your input.
Thanks,
Eric
P.s. May also need your help with an exchange.

Nevermind, realized that is oe size on factory 17's. I'll contact you if I need help with an exchange, going to try and sell my mis-ordered tires, but if not I may need to return or exchange what I received.
Thanks.

Jim, it's time to order tires again.
Got over two years and exactly 10K miles on a set of rear 65/35R18 Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sports purchased from you on 10/8/11.
Time to buy again.
Any discounts or specials I should know of before I checkout?
Thanks,
doc

I do have the RE760 at 165.00 each. If you are only replacing the rear that is the tire I would go with. There are no specials going on at this time. Normally the Tire mfg's run rebates around the end of March.
If I can help let me know.
Thanks, can wait until then.

When we dismounted it we determined it wasn't a "blowout" but a cut.
Driving a block and a half on the flat tire nearly separated it all the way around the edge.
Regardless, it was past time to replace them.

Thank you Jim for the quick responses and the quick tires to the shop! They're on the car and so far I love them!
