I was just inspecting my car on a lift and I noticed some hairline cracks on the guibo. I was wondering if it was normal for guibo to go bad after 30k miles on a DD?
Could the additional wear be caused by my turner tranny mounts?

Depends on how badly it has been abused...
No matter where you go, there you are...
i've seen guibo's get trashed in less than 30K miles, all depends on use and abuse

Mine went from mildly cracked to totally trashed in about 3,000 miles. Hard miles granted....10 auto-x's and 2 track days. Replace it....it is a wear item!

150k on mine, only 1-2 hairline cracks in it. 1st and only owner said nearly all HW driving, apparently he is correct lol, my RTAB`s looked nearly new as well.

My guess is the guibo on avg. will need to be replaced every 60K miles.
My car had the stock Guibo on it until a few weeks ago when I switched it out. I'm pretty sure it's never been replaced, and the car's got 90k on it. I'll post pics when I get home of old vs. new.
get a new guibo when you see any signs or cracking or missing chunks.
The life span as others have said is greatly defendant upon use and abuse. I just put a used flex disc from a 97 M3 automatic in my e30 when I did the 6spd swap, and the flex disc was the original one that car left the factory with. It has 120k on it when it was rolled over and totaled. So a casual driver + auto = long life I guess. No cracks or obvious wear to speak of on it or I would not have used it.

just bought up a 95 M3 avus blue/black with 165k miles. it was an 10/94 build and had the original guibo (94 stamped on it). Had a cracks and a few pieces missing but was definitely towards the end of it's life.
Now I have a brand new.

Mine has 163k and is the original so depends on a lot of factors. My clutch is original as well.
