weird noise coming from rear of car

hi i was wondering if anyone can help me. I have a 95 325i and when I drive around town i hear like a knocking sound coming from the rear. it's hella annoying so if I can get any help on this problem that would be greatly appreciated. The sound seems like it's coming from the passenger side rear.

Coming from inside the car or outside?

My fold down rear seats rattle like mad sometimes.

Also check rear shock mounts, obviously.

If your parking brake needs adjustment it might rattle on bumps. Try braking the car with the parking brake, see if that stops the rattle.

rodent, for... um, you know, domestic... within the city. That ain't legal either."
