LSD, yes, not sure about ratios. The one i have is a 3.15. I think you can find them in lower. Call diffsonline, they can make you one (not full rebuilt, just put together) for not too much $$.

I just sent him an email. We're trying to run the car at MIR on the 9th and could use some bulletproofing for the new setup.

    Many have 4-bolt drive shafts.

Yeah on a quick search it looks like the 6 bolt was up to 10/96.

    6 bolt driveshaft.

The six bolt driveshaft came standard on the '95 E36 M3. '96 and above M3's came with the 4 bolt driveshafts. The european evo M3's that came with the 6 speed tranny also had a 6 bolt driveshaft (that was shorter than the 5 speed driveshaft due to the larger tranny), and was matched to the euro diff (which was also bigger than the us spec diffs.., almost identical to the 750 diff conversion we did)... except the euro diff was a 3:64 instead of the 3:15 we chose to use

So those of you who might have had a question if the 6speed euro tranny is compatible with our 750 diff conversion... the answer is yes. You just need to make sure to get the euro 6speed driveshaft in order for everything to match up properly.

I thought one could use the auto ds for a 6speed swap?

It works but if I recall it is a tad to short but supposedly people have used it with success. I can't wait to put in my 6 speed and large case diff. I've got the e46 m3 trans, euro m3 ds and I'm picking up a euro diff and subframe.
