I know the entire capsule needs to be replaced. Is it a pain in the ass to do it? How about realigning the lights?

    Wink

For realigning, if you open the engine hood and peep inside the general direction of head lights then you almost immediately see these two white color grooved circular knobs.
Clockwise turn is to lower your aim and counter-clockwise is to upper.
These two knobs are nearest to their respective headlights so you don't have to guess which belongs to which headlight.

removal and installation is a breeze. Take off the 3 screws on top (i think its a 10mm)....try to keep the base from turning so you wont have to do too much realigning. There will be two more screws....the outter one.....you'll have to take out your corner housing (turn signal).....it'll be right underneath.....and the inner one is almost in the same place except on the other side....you'll probably need an extension for your 10mm to get in there....it really isn't to hard though. shouldn't take more than 10 mins max for both sides. hope this helps
