Turn off email notification?

How do I permanantly turn off the Email Notification so-called "feature"? I keep forgetting to click the check box at the bottom, and now I'm getting flooded with email!

I didn't find in it options or preferences, is it out there somewhere?

Go to your "profile" and then "edit options". Change the email notification there.
