    ALPINA wheels look like TRASH

I think Alpina makes some of the ugliest wheels ever.

I don't like Hamann either. BBS is my favorite wheel manufacturer.

I just hate the look of Alpina wheels. Makes me want to throw up AND take a shit everytime I see them.

I can't think of a BMW from the last 20 years that would NOT look good with Alpina rims (sole exception is the Z3, and maybe the X5, the Z4 isn't a real BMW, so it doesn't count).

I drool over the dream of an E31 Alpina EVERY DAY.... not to mention the E30 and E34 cars that are heart-stopping.

once again we have confused "old" with "ugly" and "new" with "attractive"

Mille Miglia MM11s are sweet. In 17", of course.

I don't know what you're smoking. Five-spoke wheels are sweet.

    Ask vjlax18...

5 star wheels are so lame, as played out as Angel Eyes. Unless you are going to dish out the money for HRE or something there is a copy of your wheel out there that some kid can get at Autozone. There are copies of Alpinas but even they arent cheap and dont look anything like the real Apina, plus they dont have the keylock center cap.

I like Alpinas because they are rare, and the turbine effect you get at 5-10 mph (they dissapear at 30+).

They are a whore to clean though, 20 fucking spokes and a lot of sharp edges and 90 degree angles.

I know which ones you mean. Those are hella-stupid.

The MM11s, like on vjlax18's are sweet. I wanted those on my old car, but got the RD RGS instead -- similar 5-spoke design.

    Ryan, you're smoking crack, dude!!

Five-spokes, like the RD RGS/RGRs or Mille Miglia MM11s, are classy, subtle and easy to clean.

    Lame:

yes, because they look like everything out there.

I am not downing thier functionality like SSRs or anything else that is light (mine are 16lbs). But I see regular 5 stars everywhere. I'd rather have the stock Motorsport wheels.

So are the LTW Wheels lame too? Like on red M3 Verts?
