335i with ECU vs BMW M6 convertible

These where friends cars, racing from a light the 335i with ecu pulled on M6 convertible by 2 cars and up to 80mph the 2 cars remained. I am sure after 80mph the M6 would start pulling.

Still waiting to get a good race with an E60 M5, or an M6.

sounds reasonable, i have a chip, or a turbo tuner and i pulled about that on an m6 convertible but once 3 digits hit he starts coming back pretty fast

difference in the weight and 335 being TT, I can see that happening up to 70-80mph

Every other manufacturer should give up on building their own cars and just make M3s instead.

An M6 convertible weighs even more than your mama, that's what you're missing here.
BMWs are fun in the snow too...

Believable... The M6 vert is almost 500 lbs heavier than the M6 coupe. Also I've beaten an E60 M5 (2 times) with an XKR vert from a light. I've also beaten an E92 M3 (3 times) with a 335i loaner from a light. Point being that M's in general don't make much torque down low and if not launched right will be beaten by "slower'' cars that have a lot of torque.

P.s. When the driver of the M5 wanted to run the XKR on the highway, I politely declined for obvious reasons..

    I know, right...

Regardless, I rather have a M6 convertible over a 335 any day...and if I really felt like "being" faster than a chipped 335, I would just send my car off to Dinan
